On Saturday 6th April few members met 6am at Towcester for early morning coffee. After a small issue with a flat battery the journey started, using the main routes down to Bristol where first stop for fuel and rest. once back on the road a short ride down pass Bristol to Bridgewater where pick up the A39 taking in the scenic route down west coast heading over Exmoor National Park where visibility was poor once out and with few surprise tight hairpins, some of the views were amazing and making stops on the way thru. Eventually arriving at the destination hotel for around 6pm after a minor detour down some country roads putting all riding experience to the test. Once changed out of biking gear all met up at pub for well earn beer and food.
Sunday 7th after a good nights rest met over at pub for breakfast then return to pack and load up bikes for last part of the journey to Lands End once arrived arrange to have photo’s taken with the iconic sign and bikes after coffee and wander around the homeward journey started using the mains routes home and regular stops. With last stop on A34 near Oxford as once back in Northampton area be heading off in different directions for home.
